Tears of Laughter

Nilo Perequê (Leandro Hassum) is the major comedy star in Brazil. With absolut success on TV and Internet and a big fanbase, he collects awards, money and competitors. The biggest one is Jotapê Santana (Rafael Portugal), which is always going into trouble with the comedian and who’d give anything to take Nilo’s spotlight. But Nilo has never imagined that his biggest obstacle is himself. When he realizes that no one takes him seriously anymore - neither his troubled family, nor the love of his live, Nilo goes through a journey that will take tears of laughter to reconquer the success.
