A Road to Beirut

The film starts with the revelation of a meeting of the filmmaker with Mideast, at Copacabana beach, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, when walking at the sea side she hears tourists speak in arabian language, what awakes her memory, bringing fragments of her visit to an Arabian Cultural Center, in the 90’s. The narrative through memories and interviews with different Lebanese thinkers bringing stories inside History. Her trip to Lebanon shows to the audience the cultural treasure left by Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, and how the Immigrants enriched the Brazilian soul. The time of the film is the same of her visit to the Arabian Cultural Center, and her memory brings the sound and the images that composes this panel.
